Ashby 5 Whitewashed

It was a miserable evening for Ashby 5 last night as they went down by 4-0 at top of the table Latimer. I would have liked to report on some highlights but, sadly, there don't seem to have been any !!

    Yes, there were no highlights, but as has often been the case this season there were several good efforts against much higher graded opponents. Only Neil should hang his head in shame, having lost his Queen on move 15. After that he gave his opponent a few awkward moments, but succumbed in the end. Jan, Paul & Damian all matched their opponemts for long periods, but small errors in the middle and end games were punished.
