Saturday 20th July is International Chess Day, the day that FIDE, the International Chess Federation, was founded in 1924. International Chess Day has been celebrated annually on this date since 1966.
Welcome to the Ashby Ivanhoe Chess Club website. We meet on Thursday evenings from 19:30 onwards at the Ivanhoe Social Club, Wilfred Place, Ashby, LE65 2GW.
