Great result for Ashby 3 last night against Wigston 2. Trailing by 2.5 - 1.5 at the halfway point we came back to win the second half by 3-1, to give us an overall win of 4.5 - 3.5. Great performances by Team Captain Nick Wyld, with a score score of 1.5/2, and Paul Mayer, whose win in his second game against a much higher rated opponent, got us over the line. The win sends us to the top of the Harrod Cup table by a point from Ashby 1 and Wigston 1. Looking at the table as it stands, it looks like Ashby 3 will be playing either Ashby 1 or Wigston 1 in the 4th round.
