Ashby 2 Beaten At Market Harborough In Harrod Cup

Ashby 2 were beaten 4.5 - 3.5 by Market Harborough 3 in the Harrod Cup last night. We won the first round of games by 2.5 - 1.5 but slumped badly in the second half, losing 3 of the 4 games. The only bright spot of the evening was Steve scoring 1.5/2 on top board. This result leaves us in second from bottom place, but we have avoided the Wooden Spoon as bottom Club Loughborough have a vastly inferior Game Point Difference.
