Some of you will be aware that, in addition to all the hard
work Steve Emmerton does for our website, he also works for the English Chess Federation, administering their League Management System (LMS). In his capacity as the ECF LMS Administrator he provides advice and support to the many hundreds of Leagues, Clubs and Counties up and down the country who use LMS to administer their competitions. Also, as a member of the ECF Rating Team, he deals with any queries that may arise regarding rating issues.
The ECF have awarded Steve and the LMS Developer jointly a well deserved
award for this year's ECF Online Chess Contribution Of The Year. When they have received their
awards I'm sure there will be a posting on the ECF website, which we will add
to our own.
