Ashby's grip on the Harrod Cup, which we have won for the past 2 years, is slowly slipping.
Ashby 1 were beaten 5-3 by Wigston last night, while Ashby 2 were beaten 5.5 - 2.5 by Market Harborough 1.
In other news, Les Fancourt drew his 3rd Round game in the LRCA Major Championship last week, to put him on 1.5/3. No other Round 3 results have been posted yet, so quite where that leaves him I don't know - presumably about halfway.
