At tonight's AGM Nick Wyld suggested that it might be a nice idea to arrange for Ashby players to enter a weekend Congress as a group. To this end I have added a link to the ECF Calendar Of Events at the top of this page. Nick will review this list and come up with some suggestions based on the date and location of the various Events. I'm sure we would all prefer a weekend in Torbay to a weekend in Tranmere !!! Just a note that anybody who would be interested in coming to one of these weekends would need to upgrade their ECF Membership from Bronze to Gold. The current price of Gold Membership is £37 per annum.
Weekend Congresses can take a couple of different formats, although they will all be Swiss tournaments. Some play one game on a Friday evening, two on a Saturday and two on a Sunday. Others might play 3 games on a Saturday and two on a Sunday.
