It has been a good week for the Club in our LRCA League matches.
Ashby 4 travelled to Syston 3 on Tuesday and came away with a 2.5 - 1.5 win, which was some consolation following their drubbing by Anstey in their previous match.
A very strong Ashby 1 continued their winning start to the season with a 3.5 - 1.5 win at Melton Mowbray on Wednesday.
Ashby 3 rounded off the week with a 2.5 - 2.5 draw at home against Thurnby.

In the Club U1450 Championship, James Foster managed to squeeze in 2 games, winning them both, against Graham Bird and Damian Oldham respectively. This has propelled him into 2nd place in Group B and a win or draw in his final game will see him into the Semi-Finals.
There were also three games played in the Club Championship proper, with Jan Oldham beating Neil Roberts, Ian Maskery beating Ollie Fordham and Darren Pearce beating Damian Oldham.
