The Club had 3 matches last week, with varying outcomes.
Ashby 1 held a strong Melton Mowbray team to a 2-2 draw, despite being heavily outrated on 3 of the 4 boards. The point earned was not, unfortunately, enough to lift us off the bottom of the Division 2 table.
Ashby 3 beat Loughborough 3 by 2.5 - 1.5, to ensure that we go into 2024 at the top of Division 3.
Ashby 5 were whitewashed 4-0 by Heathcote Arms and remain marooned at the bottom of Division 4.
