Ashby 5 got their first win of the season last night, beating Braunstone 3 by 2.5 - 1.5. There were particularly good wins for Mick and Jamie on boards 1 and 2 against higher rated players. A draw for Peter on board 4, also against a much higher rated opponent, ensured that we took the points. Click on the Ashby 5 results tab at the top of the page for the full match score card.
