Welcome to the Ashby Ivanhoe Chess Club website. We meet on Thursday evenings from 19:30 onwards at the Ivanhoe Social Club, Wilfred Place, Ashby, LE65 2GW. Two wins for our 2nd Team sees them move up the table, to 2 pts behind the leaders, and the 4th Team's win over the 5th Team sees them maintain a 6 pt lead over their closest rivals, who each have 2 games in hand.
Our 1st Team edged a close encounter with their closest rivals and our 3rd Team gained an honourable draw against the Div 3 table toppers. Draws too for our 2nd & 4th Teams. Both were well earned, with their opponents outgrading us on all boards.
